Tonya Vorobyova, WFF Pro

I had a personal trainer who convinced me to compete in local bodybuilding show so I did my first competition in 2015. I attend in to fitness bikini division and placed 1st. I was hooked immediately and was doing two shows each year. And In 2018 I got my WFF Pro card.

A successful competition for me is always going out there and putting 100 percent into whatever I'm doing. It's not always winning. People, I think, mistake that it's just winning. Sometimes it could be, but for me, it's hitting the best sets I can, gaining confidence, and having a good time and having fun. My off season calories target is 2250 and 4 weeks out is 1500. During off season my carbs slightly higher and protein lower. But closer to the competition I have high protein and almost no carbs. For example in my last week of preparation last year i had 40% protein, 50% fats and only 7 % carbs. Each season it's different as I'm using different diets to see what is working for my body. I found that carbs circling and keto diet are the most effective for me. I'll be honest with you that none of my diet plans has fail. I'm working with a coach and he knows what he is doing.

I love stage. I love to be on the stage. I used to dance when I was 4 years old and continued doing so till 21. Stage is my second home, I feel like a fish on the water when I'm on the stage.

My training it's a combination of cardio and lifting. When off season I'm doing cardio after lifting and closer to the competition, let's say 12 weeks out I'm doing cardio before and after training. It's always 80% - diet and only 20% of training

The day of the competition it's amazing time you don't really know how you feel hahaha. While waiting for registration I'm not stressed at all but thinking about my stage presentation and about my next meal. Yes food is always in my mind. Once registration is done I start stressing. I know I must relax because when you are stressing your body is holding water which is none of the athletes need before stepping on the stage. I am always nervous more before my line up.

While waiting I'm trying not to talk and go through my stage presentation in my head one more time. Always stressed about posing. It's the most important part of bodybuilding competition. When I'm on the stage I'm trying to stay focus and understand what is happening and somehow I'm stressed less or not at all cause I'm there already, on the stage no need to panic. The finals is my favorite part. I can feel if I made or not.

Bodybulding has changed my life completely. It's not just sport it's my life style. I can not imagine myself having different routine every Morning. I don't think I could live without food prep. I'm very proud of myself. I'm proud of my achievement so far

Future plans? If talking about my competing planes, I want to win WFF Universe and WFF World's.
