I've always been around the gym and had a passion for working out especially being that my mother was an amateur bodybuilder. I have a gymnastics, competitive all-star cheerleading, and dance background. I've been a fashion model for several years, but I came to a point that I was tired of literally killing myself to be so thin to fit industry standards. I had been told several times due to my body type that I should give fitness modeling a try and that my build would be perfect for competing in figure. I then did some research and decided to give it a shot! I'm totally happy and glad I made that decision.

I've only had one season thus far. I had my first show a little over 3 weeks ago. Blessed and proud I can say I won the overall for Figure. As far as offseason and season diet. I was kept on an off season diet the whole prep and started doing one cheat meal a week once I became 4 weeks out. My coaches kept my meals the same due to me leaning out so quickly. My body is carb sensitive so my carb intake was pretty low and from in the morning to the afternoon. 5 meals a day every 3 hours. I've only had one competition meal plan. Thanks to my nutritionist, it was spot on.

My components of training for my first season was mainly weight training and cardio for 30 minutes 3-4 times a week. I did Some HIT as well. I can definitely say I'm a weight training girl. I have the most fun when I'm lifting and thinking about what I want to mold the muscle to look like while I'm contracting.

I've been on stage since the age of 5. From dance recitals, individual cheerleading competitions, gymnastics routines, and as I got older being a model. Being on stage strutting my physique was like combining all of what I know for stage presence. I had an absolute blast being on stage and I'm hooked to this sport.

For my first show I had an overall great experience. Check ins took quite some time and the show started late, but it was no biggy. I listened to what my coach said. I brung enough food for the day, elevated my feet, relaxed and waited for the show to begin. Pre-judging was fun! I completed my sassy routine and the crowd really enjoyed it. I stayed in the center for mandatory poses. Finals was a bit rushed, but I still had a blast getting back on stage for the second time that day. I ended up taking the overall in Figure.

Future plans... A lot is in the works. I plan on obtaining my Pro Card and taking competing as far as I can. Dreams of making it to the Olympia. As a fitness model and personal trainer I plan on expanding my brand. The fitness industry is a market that I plan on making a big impact in. With hard work, focus, and dedication I'm going to make it happen.
