Ashley Hamilton - Bikini Competitor

Iíve been an athlete my whole life. I started lifting weights when I got to college. After I graduated college, a good friend of mine suggested I compete. It sounded like a good idea to me so I did it.

Off season, I just count macros and focus on increasing my carbs without gaining too much unnecessary weight. Prep depends on the coach. Iíve counted macros and also done a meal plan before. I actually tried keto for a prep before lol worst idea ever. After a month, I started to look super flat. My muscle definition barely showed. As expected, I didnít place well in that show.

Get you a girl who can do both ???????????????????? #fitgirl #fitchick #lift #gainz #npc #npcbikini #fitfam #fitspo #booty #abs #curls #naturalista #transformation #humpday #workout #exercise #consistency #justdoit #workforit

During prep, my training can vary depending on how my body is reacting. I will always start off with at least a couple days of fasted cardio, alternating hiit and steady state. Five days of lifting in the beginning of prep. It will increase as the months pass. Always have 10-15mins high end steady state or hiit post lift. My split will hit every body part with glutes and delta attacked twice.

Last show check ins. Honestly, I felt amazing. I knew that I had brought my best package to date. My nerves were sooooo calm which isnít normal for me lol so I was pleased with the way I kept easy. You have to be confident in what youíve worked 12+ weeks for. Once youíre backstage, thereís nothing else you can do except be proud of yourself.

Life as an athlete: Well it for sure affects my personal life. I canít always eat it with family and friends. If I do, Iím very particular with what I get and not all my friends understand what I do so it can be frustrating. So I would say it mostly affects my life in a social aspect.

#tbt LEFT: 2015, first show. RIGHT: 3 weeks ago, prep for third show. First of all, what is that pose?? ??????? on the left, I was 133lbs. Right is 144/145. Crazy right? Nah. Body composition.
